We supervised a trainee, Wessim, who worked on trajectory optimization for paragliders. The objective was to optimize the position of control points for which the drone passes by to connect a point A to a point B while satisfying constraints related to the trajectory such as obstacles on the ground. This internship allowed us to develop algorithms in a simple framework that we are looking forward to test on our drones!
